Little Peoples Place Preschool and Childcare

Where Childhood Is Treasured

Family-Owned & Operated Since 1980

Our Program

Learning, Playing & Growing Together

At Little Peoples Place, we believe childhood should be filled with play, curiosity, creativity and connection.

We create a warm environment where children have the freedom to explore, discover, build friendships and enjoy being little.

Growing Together

One of the things that makes LPP special is our mixed-age environment.

Much like a family, younger children learn by watching and interacting with older children, while older children have opportunities to become helpers, leaders and role models.

These relationships encourage kindness, patience, cooperation and a natural sense of caring for one another. Because every child develops differently, we meet them where they are and support their individual growth.

Learning Through Play

We believe young children learn best when they’re engaged, interested and having fun.

Learning is woven naturally into our days through:

Art & Creativity

Music & Movement

Books & Storytelling

Early Literacy & Math

Imaginative Play

Hands-On Exploration

Outdoor Play

Children are encouraged to explore, ask questions, experiment, make mistakes and discover what they can do.

Our goal isn’t to rush children through childhood — it’s to nurture a genuine love of learning.

Family & Community

Community has always been at the heart of Little Peoples Place.

We believe caring for a child means building a relationship with their family, too. Parents and caregivers are important partners in a child’s early years, and we value the trust, communication and friendships that grow through that shared experience.

Over time, those individual relationships create something bigger — a community where children and families feel they truly belong.

For us, childcare isn’t simply a place children come each day. It’s a shared journey, and we feel incredibly fortunate to be part of it.

A Little Extra Fun

We enjoy bringing special enrichment experiences into LPP as well.

Our children currently have opportunities to participate in Spanish and Stretch & Grow, bringing additional language, movement, music and fun into their week.

These optional programs are offered by visiting instructors within the familiar surroundings of LPP.

Ready for What Comes Next

Some of the most important learning in early childhood happens through relationships, experiences and everyday moments.

We help children build confidence, independence, communication, empathy, friendships, problem-solving and self-regulation — skills that create a strong foundation for everything that follows.

We take great pride in working alongside our families throughout these important early years. When the time comes for the next big chapter — kindergarten — we want each child to leave LPP with the confidence, curiosity and independence to take that next step.

Being part of a child’s journey from their early childcare years through that exciting transition is one of the things we treasure most about what we do.

Loved for who they are. Encouraged to discover who they can become.

That’s growing up at Little Peoples Place.
