    They Left Prepared for Kindergarten

“Our two boys both attended LPP from ages 2-5, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Both learned to read during their time at LPP, their speech improved tremendously, and they learned how to treat others fairly and kindly. Both of our boys were very sad to graduate but they left prepared for kindergarten and as well-rounded kids. Lee is amazing and we’d recommend her as a teacher any time!”

“I like that it was a smaller group of kids, so we could really connect and become life-long friends. Lee and Linda were so caring! I liked the homemade meals for lunch, the yurt trip was legendary and all of the Parents Nights Out parties were so much fun.”

“Our 20 month old loves Little People’s Place! Since she started a couple months ago, she has been singing songs, learning more words, reciting her ABC’s, and even counting to ten. Most importantly, LPP is a close-knit community where our child feels welcomed and supported.”

“Lee and the LPP family were a foundation of warmth and confidence for our little person. The social skills and relationships formed in these early years reflect on their love and attention and the community they foster every day. I wouldn’t trade it for anything!”

  • Our Kids Felt Incredibly Known

    Our Kids Felt Incredibly Known

“There is so much to say here!

“Both of our kids felt incredibly known, loved, and cared for at LPP.  Our kids are now teenagers and have attended great schools, but they still stand by the statement that their best and favorite teacher was Lee (and Linda!).  LPP helped nurture our kids into kind, playful, creative, curious, and social individuals through art projects, kid-led make-believe games, pre-school learning activities, and outside games.  Lee Fielding has a good deal of Mary Poppins in her!

“In particular, I feel our kids developed such impressive social skills and habits from their years at LPP.  The small, multi-age group of kids creates a close-knit group of individuals who bond over shared experiences, games, and activities.  The annual yurt trip also helped us get to know and connect with other families.

“I also want to thank you for potty-training our kids and helping instill kindness and humor.  Our kids were very well-prepared for kindergarten. So, THANK YOU for the bonds you helped forge and for being such an amazing part of our kids early years!  We are all better off as a result of our kids’ time with LPP.  We are so grateful.”

  • Our Kids were Loved and Encouraged

Our Kids were Loved and Encouraged

“It’s hard to believe our three kids are now in college and beyond! They all grew up at Little Peoples Place, and we still look back on those years with so much love. LPP was so much more than childcare for our family—it was a place where our kids were loved and encouraged to be themselves. Linda and Lee became such an important part of their childhood, and the friendships they made there have lasted well beyond preschool.

“Somewhere along the way, the kids started calling themselves ‘The Original LPP Gang,’ and the name just stuck. Even now, with everyone off at college, working and building lives in different places, when they’re all home they still make a point of getting together. There’s something incredibly special about seeing friendships that began at Little Peoples Place when they were tiny continue into adulthood.

LPP gave our children so much more than a wonderful start—it gave them a community, lifelong friendships and two generations of caregivers who became part of our family’s story. Little Peoples Place will always feel a little bit like home.”

    Cozy, Loving Space

“LPP will always have a special place in our hearts. Our girls still talk about their time there, often reflecting on how it was a cozy, loving space and their close connection to Lee. It was truly a gift to drop them off each day knowing that they would be cared for with such kindness and love. We also deeply appreciate that this is where they learned how to sweep up a mess…we thank LPP every time they grab the dustpan and broom!”
